Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide amide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, in which two residues are non-natural: 2-aminoisobutyric acid at the N-terminus and D-2-naphthylalanine. It is a growth-hormone secretagogue that acts at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a), unlike the GHRH analogues beside it in the GH-axis group of our body-composition and metabolic page, and it appears in two blends there, with tesamorelin and with CJC-1295.
