Polypeptide complex extracted from calf thymus: a mixture, not one peptide
Research topic: Hair · group: Hair-follicle research peptides
Thymalin is a polypeptide complex obtained from calf thymus by mild acid extraction: a mixture of short peptides rather than one molecule, so it has no single formula, mass or CAS. The dipeptides Lys-Glu (KE) and Glu-Trp (EW) are reported among its constituents. Our product list names the item Thymalin/Thymulin, but our product data describe the material as Thymalin and record thymulin, also called thymic factor (FTS), as a different substance: a defined nonapeptide. On pepoderma it is listed with the hair-topic peptides; none of the records in our product data concerns hair follicles. Those records cover a comparison of natural and synthetic thymic peptide preparations, a long-term study of elderly people in which it was used together with a pineal preparation, and work on its KE and EW dipeptides.
Besides the vials, Thymalin is bottled as a nasal spray, held in stock in the United States and shipped from there.

Every lot of Thymalin has its own batch COA, which lists the tests run on that lot and their results.
Ask for the COA of the batch you are quoted; the batch number on it is the batch we ship.

Our product data cite journal records of Thymalin (a comparison of thymic peptide preparations, a long-term human cohort and a study of two constituent dipeptides) without author names, so no study table is shown.
What to put in your quote request
With these facts the first reply can carry the unit price per kit, shipping and lead time.
That is how the item appears in our product list. Our product data identify the material as Thymalin, a thymus extract, and regard thymulin as a different substance: a single nonapeptide with records of its own. The COA of each lot states what was tested on that batch.
Because a multicomponent extract has none of them. Each of those values belongs to one molecule, and Thymalin is a mixture of peptides.
Not on its own: one percentage cannot describe a mixture of many peptides. Our product data call for total content and a compositional fingerprint instead, which is why the fact table prints no purity figure.
One kit is 10 vials of the same product at the same strength. Each vial holds the stated amount, for example 10 mg of lyophilized peptide; the few solutions are stated per vial in mg or ml. 1 kit per product and strength. One order can combine several products and strengths, each from 1 kit.
Every lot has its own batch COA listing the tests run on that lot and their results, with the lot number of the vials you receive. Yes. Ask for the COA of the batch you are quoted; the batch number on that COA is the batch we ship.
In writing, per request. Prices are tiered by the number of kits of each peptide and strength; the quotation gives the unit price per kit, the shipping cost and the lead time. We reply within 24 hours.
