Tesamorelin is the complete 44-residue human growth-hormone-releasing hormone, GHRH(1-44), with its natural C-terminal amide and one added group: a trans-3-hexenoyl acyl on the amino group of Tyr1. That acylation is the only difference from the hormone itself. It opens the GH-axis group of our body-composition and metabolic page, next to the shorter GHRH(1-29) peptides, sermorelin and CJC-1295, and it is one component of three Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin blends.
