CJC-1295 with DAC is a GHRH analogue of 30 residues. The first 29 follow human GHRH(1-29) with four substitutions — D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15 and Leu27 — and a lysine is added at position 30, its side chain carrying a maleimidopropionyl group. That group is the drug affinity complex (DAC), designed to bind to cysteine 34 of albumin. Without the added lysine and its group the peptide is CJC-1295 without DAC, a separate product with its own CAS and mass. Both belong to the GH-axis group of our body-composition and metabolic page.
